Whether the pools were intentionally setup that way or not, it certaintly looks suspicious. And the coaches that got the short end of the stick will probably remember that when they get invited next year. It looks like it was setup like Region 4 that was brought up in another post. Many top teams get knocked out early.

Where was the athletic director when "She" was cherry picking the teams for the pools. That's ok. I guess the old wives tale stands true--cheaters never win.
First off, we have to give the Martinsburg team some credit for making it to their semi-finals, even if it was the weaker pool. Now, as far as "picking" the pools, we ALL KNOW why the pools were set up as such and I'm sure would agree that it is rather unfair. However, let's remember that playing to higher caliber teams makes all those teams that much better. We really should think of it as a compliment, it only validates the fact that "she" knows where her team stands in comparison with the others.

First off I would like to congradulate the volunteers that worked the tournament for Martinsburg High School as they did a wonderful job. The hospitality was great and they represented their community well.
Now as to who ever set up the tournament structure, what were you thinking? You literally set up a tournament that started at 0900 one day and stretched into the NEXT DAY!!!!!!!!!. The finals ended just after midnight. Why were all the ranked teams in one pool?????? oh, never mind I got it now and you should be ashamed of yourself. Congrats out to Parkersburg and Musselman for overcoming all of this and making it to the championship game.

No one from or for Frankfort is posting their match results to the scoreboard. Therefore they get no attention from viewers submitting to polls each week.
They basically have excluded themselves.

Frankfort - should be in top 5 in AA (beat Phillip Barbour, only AA loss to Ritchie Co.)

Hedgesvilee - ranked #8 AAA
two pools of 6 on two courts, will be a super long day. They are taking top three teams from each pool. It is a shame that the two very good teams in pool 2 will be left out of the playoffs, in my opinion 5 out of the six teams in pool 2 would easily make it out of pool 1. Although it should be good competition the finals may start at midnight!! Where is the love for frankfort on this site??
