Depth

Over the past 2 years I've seen many teams around the state play. Many of these teams have maybe 1 or 2 player that are pretty much are their team. But I think North is the deepest team in the state. If North could have 2 Varsity teams they would have 2 teams ranked in the top 10 in the state.

Is there any other schools that have that depth? Although I've seen many teams I may not have seen their younger players.

I'd have to agree. No way

I'd have to agree. No way North would have two team in top ten, but they will definitely have one. Also Morgantown and University will both have good depth. Although i do think mhs will be missing fullard alot.

missing fullard alot

yes mhs will miss cynthia but there are alot of strong other girls to step up now , we had several mhs players this summer on our traveling team and we had a heck of a summer season in travelin ball. There has been alot of improvement in both Mhs and Uhs girls due to this summer playing and i cant freakin wait for the season to start....i just love to see how all the teams in our conference have improved over the summer =)Its just great to watch our northern girls just do what they do.....

it will be a good season

it will be a good season

I would have to agree

I also think Morgantown will have plenty of depth this year, the most in our conference. Norths bench is solid but after the first 2 or 3 there is a drop off. University will be about 7 or 8 deep also.

I have alot of respect for both Morgantown and University, they both are excellent teams. Girls basketball in North Central WV is alive and well.

Depth

I believe that Morgantown will have the depth this year that they did not have last season. 6 seniors and 5 juniors returning. All had varsity experience last year. I believe for the first time in a long time that Morgantown will have more than just 1 or 2 players being the team.

That is a pretty bold statement that North would have 2 teams ranked in the top 10 in the state. I don't see it that way.
