AAA Poll for Champion and North Marion Not Listed

How could anyone with any knowledge of Girls Basketball in the State of WV have a Poll for the AAA Girls Basketball Champions and not have North Marion Listed as a choice. I think most would agree they are the favorites with wins over Morgantown, University, and Nitro.

Yes they do have a double overtime loss to Park South at South, but when was the last time you have seen a Morgantown team lose by 20 at home? North 72 Motown 52 at Morgantown.

North will avenged the loss to South when Park South plays at Rachel even if South brings the "Three Stooges" with them.

As of this moment Other is leading this poll.

Here is the link to the Metro news Power Index check it out and lets here what everyone else thinks. I was surprised they had Martinsburg ranked above University and Huntington. They are having trouble right now but hopefully they can pull it together and play up to their abilities. I'd still say Huntington, Morgantown, Parkersburg South and North Marion are the 3 top teams with Martinsburg, UHS and Nitro very close behind. yes i understand nitro just beat Huntington

Unfortunately, MaxPreps is only as good and up to date as the coaches who report. I would take MetroNews Power Index any day over most any poll, because ALL factors are taken into account.

Well, Nitro just beat HHS by 1 at HHS. From what I heard, Huntington did not take the loss very well.

The Poll is listed on the WVRSN Homepage. University was not list as an option either, but Hedgesville was.
