2009-2010 season

Well its about time to start another season of girls basketball. Hopefully the teams can stay pretty healthy this year and we don't have any major injuries like those suffered by Whitney Bays and Mona Rowe. What does everyone think about this coming season?

Top Girls Teams by Class

North Marion should be preseason no.1 in AAA. Others who should be in the top ten are South Charleston, Park South, GW, Martinsburg, Huntington, Morgantown, and University. I will have my top ten up latter this week.

In AA Summers County should be no.1. Scott and Sissonville should be in the Top Five.

In A you will have Huntington St. Joe as no.1 followed by CCHS, WCCHS, PCHS, and maybe one public school in the top five, say Tucker County. St. Joe will be very good this year maybe a top five overall in WV.

Do you know when the preseason rankings will be released? And I'd have to agree with your top for AAA and the top for AA. Summers County had a great team last year i'm not sure how graduation may have affected them. North Marion pretty much has the same squad since most of the team was made up of Soph. and Jrs.
